Northern Chapter Christmas Function - 26th November 2008 We are pleased to invite you to our Christmas Function at the Floating Pavilion, on the 26th November from 6:30pm.This cocktail function will provide NZIOB the perfect opportunity to continue the NZIOB Silver Jubilee Celebrations as well. Northern Puhoi Tunnel visit - 11th April Click here to see photos
NZIOB Northland Branch - Visit to Puhoi Tunnels - Wednesday, 19th March 2008This was a great event and a one time opportunity to tour the Johnstone Tunnels at Puhoi and inspect the six sections of this Northern Gateway Alliance project.
NZIOB Site Visit to Deloitte Centre - 27th March 2008The visit concentrated on the secant pile wall, diaphragm slabs and associated tanking. This was one of the deepest excavations in the CBD. The 7 storey retained façade of the Jean Batten Building was also be viewed. Paul Feltham, the senior site project manager walked us through this building with its historical importance.
