FOCUS

DigiComm25 is the third digitally focused conference hosted by the NZ Institute of Building.

DigiComm25 will be a one-day conference on Thursday 20 March 2025 at Aotea Centre in Tāmaki | Auckland.

The theme for the conference is ‘Growing our global digital community’ There will be an international focus to the day, looking at emerging trends and practical applications of digital technologies in construction and infrastructure.

These global applications will be further brought to life and referenced with case studies of what is being done locally in Aotearoa New Zealand.

What will be covered at DigiComm25

  • The Global – hearing direct from experts around the world on the latest in AI, Digital Twin and future of digital application to construction.
  • The Local – examples of real-world application from NZ and Australia – bringing digital to life and relevant to attendees.
  • The Conversations – panel discussions, roundtables and opportunities for interactive engagement – with a parallel stream for ‘Next Gen’ and ‘Young Professionals’.

RADICALLY DIFFERENT

With the state of the economic climate as it is - we are taking a radically different approach to conference delivery to bring you DigiComm25 at the lowest cost possible.

‘Radically different’ means making the most of our central location and letting registrants loose on the array of local eateries (to hunt/gather/pay for themselves) for lunch + drinks at the end of the day.

It means bringing the best local speakers together in person on the day and delivering the best global presenters digitally.

Most importantly radically different means DigiComm25 will be HALF THE PRICE of usual one-day conferences.

WHO SHOULD BE THERE

DigiComm25 will be an opportunity for anyone interested in the future of digital construction to connect and learn. Registration for this one-day conference will be open for all – members and non-members of the Institute.

There will also be a parallel stream available at low-cost to ‘young professionals’ and ‘next gen’ members (students, apprentices and cadets).
