The sold-out Southern Region Golf Day is going ahead on Friday, 29 October as planned. Due to Christchurch currently being in Alert Level 2, advice was sought from Golf New Zealand as to whether the NZIOB tournament would be permitted, and they confirmed that it could proceed.

The NZIOB Charitable Education Trust has announced that due to COVID-19 Level 3 restrictions in Auckland, they will be postponing their Night at the Trots fundraising event at Alexandra Park Raceway until Friday the 18th of March 2022.

Construction growth to outpace manufacturing this decade, says new global forecast

Construction will be an engine of global economic growth in the decade to 2030, with output expected to be 35% higher than in the ten years to 2020, according to a new global forecast. Pent-up household savings, pandemic stimulus programmes, and population growth will combine to spur average annual growth of 3.6% between now and 2030.
