A full 2019 NZIOB events calendar starts with a classic trio of social events

News from the

SOURCE

The NZIOB’s 2019 event calendar promises to be the fullest in memory, with a number of events anticipated to occur as a consequence of the newly formed Young Practitioner Adviser network (see story No, 2), a full Chapter event programme, two Building Legendsworkshops being developed, and two conferences occuring this year: the NZIOB hosted BIMinNZ in May; and the NZIOB initiated Constructing our World (AIB hosted for 2019) in September. This provides NZIOB members with a wide array of options to accumulate Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits throughout 2019.

The year starts off with the traditional trio of social events: the Northern Chapter Golf Day (19th of February); the Northern Chapter Fishing Competition (1st of March); and the Central Chapter Golf Day (20th of March). Places are still available for members who would like to enter golf teams or a boat of anglers for the two Golf Days and the Fishing Competition respectively. Prompt action will be required to secure tickets, as all three events sell out each year.
