Nominations for our 2024 NZ Building People Awards and Next Gen Awards will be open 17 April - 29 May. 

The awards evening will take place on 30 August at the Viaduct Event Centre in Tāmaki | Auckland.

Built to Last Conference update

Built to Last is the title of the NZIOB’s 2020 conference, remodeled as a hybrid event with both in-person and virtual attendance options. The Conference will be held on Friday 30 October at the Cordis hotel in Auckland.

Annual General Meeting

All members are invited to attend the 37th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the NZIOB on Tuesday, 28 July 2020. Hosted by the Institute’s Southern Region Committee, this year’s AGM will be the first to be live-streamed.

Apprenticeship Support Programme

The Government’s Apprenticeship Support Programme was announced on Wednesday. The programme is a cross-agency government response, the key components of which are; a new government subsidy that will pay employers for each apprentice they train, and the expansion of the existing Mana in Mahi programme.
