It is a very good time to be working in construction and related trades. The question is, how do we grow the talent pool to deliver the pipeline of work across the New Zealand construction sector? The latest modelling shows that New Zealand will need to increase the construction workforce by 46 percent next year to meet demand. One answer amongst others is to expand the recruitment talent pool and open pathways for a more diverse workforce to enter, progress, and stay in construction careers.
Diversity Works and the Construction Sector Accord have created an industry-wide survey with the intention of understanding the current state of play and crafting a roadmap leading to a stronger, higher-performing construction sector. This is important research, and your voice is crucial to shaping the future of the industry.
Construction organisations who complete the survey can go in the draw to win one of two prizes, with the opportunity to select between either a $750 Visa Prezzy Card or a customised workplace training on Inclusive Leadership from Diversity Works New Zealand valued at $3,800.
Individuals who complete this survey can go into the draw to win one of two prizes, either a $750 Visa Prezzy Card or an iPhone SE.
The survey closes on 29 August.
