NZIOB Level 2 event planning

LATEST NEWS

2 June 2020. With New Zealand now operating under COVID-19 Level 2, there is an ability for organisations to hold gatherings of up to 100 people under certain conditions (that are expected to be eased further over the next month).

  • With this change, the NZIOB National Office is working closely with the Regional Committees to restart our traditional ‘in-person’ events across the regions. One of the first dates to be set is the NZIOB’s 2020 Annual General Meeting, which will be held in Christchurch on Tuesday 28 July. Details of this event are nearing finalisation. An AGM Notice and the event outline will be advertised in the next edition of Dispatch.
  • Running in parallel, the NZIOB’s webinar series will continue, albeit at a less regular schedule than what COVID-19 Levels 4 and 3 dictated.
  • Planning for the 2020 New Zealand Building Industry Awards on Friday 30 October is well advanced, with the new multi-venue delivery model recently being announced to the membership.
  • Planning for the NZIOB’s 2020 and 2021 conferences has been continuing throughout the COVID-19 crisis, with Built to Last and BIMinNZ confirmed for 30 October 2020 and 15 April 2021 respectively.
