Simon Lincoln of Make Architects closing keynote at Built to Last

LATEST NEWS

With the auspicious task of wrapping up the Built to Last programme, Make Architect’s Asia Pacific Director, Simon Lincoln will be presenting the benefit of enduring design as a catalyst for maximising the potential of our built environment.

In a career spanning more than 20 years, Simon’s portfolio of built work covers Asia, the UK and the UAE. His work on Melbourne’s The Link (a multi-purpose passageway for Vicinity Centres’ Chadstone shopping centre) and Sydney’s The Education Building (transforming one of the city’s best-known heritage buildings into a high-end hotel) look set to become exemplars of Australian architecture. In his current role, Simon is overseeing the architecture and design of the billion-dollar redevelopment of Wynyard Place, a transformational mixed-use development in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.

In his Built to Last presentation, Simon will be using key case studies from Make Architects’ international experience, covering urban regeneration, heritage preservation, adaptive reuse, sustainability, and how the increasing use of technology across our built environment is delivering an urban fabric that is intelligent, durable, flexible, and sustainable. Make Architects is a leading international architectural practice with offices in Hong Kong, London, and Sydney.

This is one presentation not to miss. Book your in-person or virtual ticket now.
