New Zealand Building Industry Awards: Congratulations to all our winners!

The winners of the 2021 New Zealand Building Industry Awards were announced on Friday, 13 August at a gala evening at the Cordis Hotel, Auckland. With 680 guests in attendance, it was the biggest ceremony ever held in the 28-year history of the Awards. The GIB® Supreme Award was won by Farzam Farzadi from Beca for the Digital Delivery Processes on the Waikato River to Redoubt water supply programme.

COVID-19 update and resources for the Building and Construction sector

With all of New Zealand currently in Level 4 Lockdown, it is timely to remind all our members of the COVID-19 advice and resources available to everyone. The overriding message is that for building, construction, and maintenance services to be undertaken at Alert Level 4, at least one of the following must apply: that the work is required to address immediate risks to health and safety; or that the work relates to nationally important infrastructure.
