It’s important for NZIOB members to keep their continued professional development up to date. To maintain your membership, you must attain 45 CPD credits over a rolling three-year period with a minimum of ten CPD credits per year. 

We make it simple to stay up to date. 

• Each NZIOB region holds six to eight professional events a year. Our members come from a wide range of building industry organisations and groups, so our CPD events reflect that by mixing professional development with technical knowledge. You can stay informed about building products, technology, law and compliance, and construction methods through seminars, presentations, and site visits. All activities are assigned CPD Credits, and NZIOB-approved CPD events are also provided by a wide number of construction industry stakeholders. 

• CPD credits can also be earned by completing online assessments and watching webinars. Some of these assessments are based on reading the BRANZ Build magazine, which NZIOB members are entitled to subscribe to for free.
