NZIOB Inaugural Graduate Forum

LATEST NEWS

The first in an ongoing series of NZIOB Graduate Forums kicks-off on Tuesday, 15 March 2022. The format provides a small group of graduates (with a construction related qualification) with the opportunity to attend a lunchtime session at which they can ask guest speakers from industry on a range of construction-related topics. Those questions can be posted by attendees prior to the event, so that the guest speakers can prepare accordingly and address the key topics from the outset.

The style of the NZIOB Graduate Forums will be informal, starting with an introduction from the guest speakers, then into the questions, which in turn will lead to other questions and a general discussion. All of this over a relaxed lunch, designed to provide recent graduates with a forum to engage with some of our industry’s high achievers in an informal environment. Speakers for the inaugural NZIOB Graduate Forum are Jessica-Mae Robertson of RCP and Nick Morris of LT McGuinness.

The event is free for NZIOB Graduate members*, otherwise $25 + GST to cover the cost of the lunch. All graduates must have a construction-focused tertiary qualification (architecture, construction management, engineering, quantity surveying, etc.) or have recently completed a carpentry apprenticeship.
