The New Zealand Building Industry Awards reach across professional boundaries and provide entrants with recognition from ‘industry’ as opposed to acknowledgment from ‘professional peers’ only. For employers of finalists, it is an opportunity to showcase their company’s capability and talent.

Apprenticeship Support Programme

The Government’s Apprenticeship Support Programme was announced on Wednesday. The programme is a cross-agency government response, the key components of which are; a new government subsidy that will pay employers for each apprentice they train, and the expansion of the existing Mana in Mahi programme.
