Currently, the Institute is considering its strategic position around innovation, inclusion, and wellness as we move forward to future-proof Member value. This month the Institute’s hard-working voluntary Board is heading into a Strategy Day which will be followed by Member Meetups around the motu where you get to have input (as well as enjoy lunch with some up-and-coming Members and some of our more experienced Members). Tauranga City Council’s new office building, set to be built in the heart of the city, will be the largest mass timber office building in New Zealand! The building will target a net zero carbon footprint for the building’s construction process and will feature rainwater harvesting, electric vehicle charging and facilities that encourage active transport options.
