The NZIOB is pleased to announce that the next Building Legends topic is Financial Management. This will be the third in the Carters-sponsored Building Legends suite of workshops; a series that has developed a strong following, achieving its purpose of filling a gap that exists in providing key skills, and imparting experience to mid-career construction practitioners.
The content of the Financial Management workshop is being produced by BDO, whose construction team, led by NZIOB member James MacQueen, has developed a deep understanding of the challenges that businesses within the construction industry face. BDO’s motivation to be involved in Building Legends matches the NZIOB’s; to play a role in raising the level of financial performance and resilience across the industry.
The Building Legends Financial Management workshops are targeted at owners or senior managers of the full range of businesses that operate in the construction industry, including: main and sub-contractors, design professionals, and suppliers. The workshops will be particularly useful for those who have recently started, or are about to start, a new company.
