The NZIOB Central Region Committee hosted a site visit to Sunset West Apartments in Te Aro Wellington on Tuesday, 11 May. This high-profile building is the first major project for Aoraki Construction, with interest in the striking building design and the new construction company leading to a well-attended site visit event. Designed by Designgroup Stapleton Elliott for Nightingale Land Investments, the site visit provided access to apartments at various stages of completion. The event marked an occasion in which the directors of both the architectural practice and the main contractor were NZIOB members.
