Due to Easter, we have only had two working-days since the last NZIOB Dispatch, though in that time the focus of both government and industry has been firmly on when and how New Zealand moves from Alert Level 4 to Alert Level 3. Today, the government has provided additional information on what activities are (and are not) permitted under Alert Level 3.

A government announcement on the timing of when New Zealand moves from Alert Level 4 to Alert Level 3 is due on Monday 20 April.
 
Through the Construction Sector Accord, the industry has been working closely with government to create a framework for what a safe and viable return to work for construction looks like. Today’s edition of the weekly NZCIC/CHASNZ update provides a good overview of construction industry-specific progress since last Thursday.
