Building Legends upcoming workshops

Subject to demand, the current Building Legends Financial Management workshop will also be run in Wellington, indicatively across July/August. 2021 also sees the re-run of the workshop on Construction Planning with Warren Hollings, and a third workshop is planned, focusing on Picture Planning.

The NZ Building Industry Awards are open to anyone in the building industry, with entries judged by a panel of senior construction practitioners. There is one week remaining to nominate your company’s high performers for this year’s Awards. Entries close at 5:00pm on Friday, 7 May.

New insulation rules set to ramp up building costs

A major debate is looming over the quality and amount of insulation required in the roof, walls, floors and windows of new builds and small buildings. MBIE has released a discussion paper that proposes to raise insulation standards and the energy efficiency of new homes and buildings.
