SITE VISIT | CHRISTCHURCH  | CPD :3

Join the Institute of Building to visit Ryman Healthcare's newest sustainably built apartment building in Christchurch.

The Kevin Hickman Building uses cross-laminated timber (CLT) which significantly cuts the use of concrete and structural steel directly reducing the impacts of climate change within the construction industry. The CLT system means the building will be significantly lighter than traditional structures and means the buildings’ foundations and seismic load requirements are reduced.
