Description
BIM is increasingly a part of our projects for design and delivery, but is not often thought of as a tool for H&S. The BIMSafe web portal is a new resource for the industry that seeks to share experience and expertise in using Building Information Modelling (BIM) applications to improve health and safety practices. This presentation will demonstrate BIM’s value in supporting H&S and provide examples of its use on projects around New Zealand.
In this Industry Insights webinar Kathryn Davies – Research Fellow, University of Canterbury, Building Innovation Partnership and Blair Collie – Senior Project Manager at RCP will cover:
This webinar will be a useful webinar for anyone with health and safety responsibilities in their role. The presentation will provide a high-level overview suitable for those new to BIM or H&S integration, while also offering more detailed insights and examples that will be valuable even to experienced practitioners. The focus is not on technical aspects of BIM implementation, and any technical details will be explained in an accessible way.
