SITE VISIT | AUCKLAND | CPD: 3

This Site visit gives you the opportunity to get an inside look the new Karanga-a-Hape Station, part of the City Rail Link (CRL) - New Zealand’s largest transport infrastructure project ever. Once completed it will connect Auckland’s entire rail network allowing the network to at least double capacity.

Twin 3.45 kilometre-long tunnels will connect downtown Waitematā Station (Britomart) with a re-developed Maungawhau on the Western Line. There will also be two new underground station Karanga-a-Hape and Te Waihorotiu (Aotea).

We have secured TWO perimeter site visit of the new Karanga-a-Hape Station. The Karanga-a-Hape station in Mercury Lane (above) will be the deepest of the City Rail Link stations at 33 metres deep and it will have 203m long platforms. The underground platforms go as far as Beresford Square where there is another entrance.

We have two site visit sessions to choose from – spaces are limited.
