This year the Institute of Building is turning 40.

We’ve taken this anniversary as a moment to reflect on where we have come from and where we are going. This isn’t a mid-life crisis – but it could be a turning point - an opportunity for growth.

We need to be a place for the next generation of talent and a wider pool of talent in this industry. We want to be a place where anyone in the industry can connect and feel they belong.

To reach this goal we will focus on innovation, inclusion and encouragement. 

We’ve taken feedback from our members and we’ll also be looking at seeking expert advice. We will look to refresh how we present ourselves in a way that reflects where we want to be. We will make improvements so our current and future members can find us, and the information they need, easily.
