SITE VISIT | Whangārei  | CPD :3 

 

Join our Northland Branch on a Site Visit to Qestral Corporation Limited's Ashbury Heights Retirement Village Building Site. A 17.5 Ha green fields project, this site will house a 61-room Care Centre, 20-room Dementia Centre, Lodge and Community Centre, and 250 villas.

 

The site is undergoing extensive civil engineering to ensure easy-walk gradients and will feature extensive landscaping throughout. The Care Centre will offer rest home/hospital-level care with the wellbeing of its residents as a key driver of the design - it will feature large rooms with personal decking and landscaped gardens. 

Following this visit there will be drinks, nibbles thanks to Brendan Murray Construction

Meeting point: Brendan Murray Construction Site office - Pompallier Estate Drive, Maunu, Whangārei, immediately after No 48 on the RHS
Cost:     Free for NZ Institute of Building members; $50 + GST for Non-Members
