Join the Institute for a site visit to the Cromwell Memorial Hall, Museum, and Events Centre, this is an exciting new development that will serve as a vibrant hub for the community.

Along with a tour of the site we'll have a korero with the client and the Naylor Love delivery team. 

Spanning 3100m², the facility will feature a state-of-the-art cinema, café, auditorium, retail space, museum, gallery, and versatile mixed-use community areas.

Built with resilience in mind, the construction incorporates 1200mm deep concrete foundations, structural steel, 12.5m tall precast panels (which we’re almost certain will make it the tallest building in Cromwell), timber framing, and a warm roof, all designed to meet IL3 standards for maximum durability.

Set for completion in May 2026, this innovative development will be a cornerstone for the Cromwell community, offering a dynamic space for culture, commerce, and connection.

 

The visit will be followed by refreshments & nibbles by Naylor Love

Time: 1600-1730 pm

Parking: On adjacent side streets and on Butchers Drive - please consider car-pooling or car-sharing as your first option

Cost: Free for all Institute members and $50 + GST for non-members 

PPE: Full PPE, hat, glasses, boots, high-vis
