Join the Institute to take a look at Summerset's Boulcott Development. When complete, the retirement village will be home to over 300 residents in a mix of villas, apartments, cottages and serviced apartments.

Once the village is complete, residents will have access to a range of community facilities, amongst them a resident bar, exercise room, indoor swimming pool, library, lounge, workshop, hair salon, bowling green and communal gardens.

Learn about Summerset’s business model as a Developer, Designer, Builder and Operator within the retirement industry; the many different building typologies constructed within the village; and the teamwork and challenges involved in this large-scale project.

 

 

 

Date: Tuesday 17th September 
Time: Registration from 5pm, followed by induction and site tour.
Venue: Summerset Boulcott Development - Site Compound Corner Military Rd/Hathaway Ave, Boulcott, Lower Hutt, Wellington  
Cost:  Free for NZ Institute of Building members; $50 + GST for Non-members
PPE required: Hardhat, steel-capped shoes, high-vis vests, gloves and eye protection are all required. Weather dependent you may also wish to bring a jacket.
Where to meet: Gather at Summerset’s Site Compound entrance, accessed from the corner of Military Rd and Hathaway Ave, Boulcott, Lower Hutt
Parking: Parking is provided within the site compound – please don’t park on the street
