The Government’s Apprenticeship Support Programme was announced on Wednesday. The programme is a cross-agency government response, the key components of which are; a new government subsidy that will pay employers for each apprentice they train, and the expansion of the existing Mana in Mahi programme.
This initiative will be delivered by the Ministry for Social Development and will be available from August 2020. Further details will be available soon on how to apply for the subsidy.
