The New Zealand Institute of Building and the BIMinNZ Steering Group are working with subject matter experts on a Digital BIM Guidance Project (DigiGuide). This project is being funded by the Construction Sector Accord through its Innovation workstream. 

One of the key outcomes of the project is to review and update the current BIM handbook to ensure it is current with the relevant international standards, considers any industry led process changes and includes new terminology. 

Over the past few months, work has gone into reviewing and updating the current BIM Handbook and we are now seeking your feedback. 

We need your input to make sure we have included the relevant information as this Handbook is FOR industry, BY industry. 

Please have your say by following the below process.  

The Consultation Process (2nd October - 23rd October)

1. Please access the document here. This will take you to a SharePoint folder where you can access an online word document to review.  
2. All changes to the Handbook have been highlighted in yellow, if you could please focus on these areas and add comments on the document itself - please do not add any in-text changes.  
3. Feedback is to be inputted in the document by 5pm Monday, 23rd October.

We are looking forward to launching the DigiGuide Documents in late November.
