The Construction Sector Accord has produced a new publication, Broader Outcomes Guidance for the Construction Sector. The intent is that government agencies will require that those companies tendering for the agency’s construction projects be able to demonstrate that their proposal provides for broader outcomes than just designing or constructing an asset for the Crown.
There are four Priority Outcomes that procurers and/or suppliers need to provide for:
- Increasing access for New Zealand Businesses
- Construction Skills and Training
- Improve conditions for New Zealand Workers
- Reducing emissions and waste
There are three modules that collectively form the Broader Outcomes Guidance for the Construction Sector, which have been provided in a single document (link below).
