Things are looking different around the Institute’s Home Team office with a couple of new faces having joined us and a familiar one returning.
Welcome to our first new face, Kelly Dawson, who joins us as Administration Lead. This is a newly created role – she will be taking care of all things admin and processing including membership applications, acting as the National Board secretary, and taking on project administration including being a key point of contact for our Committee members. Kelly has held a variety of administrative roles in the past, most recently as Media Coordinator for NZME in Kāpiti. Kelly lives on
Kāpiti Coast with her husband and kids - three live at home and one is in Wellington for University. Kelly enjoys trail running (short distances) and hiking. Kelly started on 27 January and is looking forward to getting to know our members over the coming months!
Joining us this week is Hayden Blucher as our Engagement Lead, Hayden will be focused on National Sponsorship, Stakeholder Engagement and looking at the Membership Journey. Hayden comes to us from the Wellington Chamber of Commerce/ Business Central where he was the Membership Manager. Coming from another Membership organisation, we’re sure he’ll hit the ground running! Hayden is born and bred in Wellington, he currently lives in Lower Hutt with his wife Sarah and young daughter Sienna. In his spare time, he loves all things sport and spending time with friends and family.
Returning to the role of Regional Events Lead, is Chloe Stephen. Chloe has been on parental leave for the past seven months with her second baby – Raglan. Chloe lives on the Kāpiti coast with her partner Liam and two young boys Banks and Raglan. Chloe is trained chef, has studied event management and before her time at the Institute Chloe worked across a range of hospitality and event settings. We are happy to welcome Chloe back to her role and know she’ll be looking forward to reconnecting with all our regional committees soon.
We would also like to give a big thanks to Floriana Medina who stepped into the Regional Events Lead role over the last several months. Floriana is heading off on a holiday to visit friends and family back in Argentina before looking for her next role. Thank you for holding the ‘Regional events fort’ for us Floriana and all the best for your next step!
Haere mai Kelly, Hayden, and Chloe and haere rā Floriana!
