Information on working at Alert Levels 2 & 4

LATEST NEWS

With a substantial amount of COVID-19 information being made available to businesses online, we have summarised some of the key points that are relevant to our members.

Protocols

The CHASNZ Protocols for working at the different Alert Levels were updated on Monday, 13 September. You can view them here.

Workers travelling between regions

From 11:59pm Thursday, all workers who need to cross Alert Level boundaries to work at a permitted business must get a COVID-19 test, whether they have symptoms or not. Workers who are permitted to cross an Alert Level 4 boundary will be required to show evidence that they have had a test in the previous seven days and police will be conducting compliance checks. These workers will not be required to stand down or stay at home while awaiting their result, as this additional testing is to provide assurance that travel in and out of boundaries is being undertaken safely.
