We are delighted to announce that, following last year’s successful multi-venue live-stream format, the New Zealand Building Industry Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner will once again be held across three locations: Auckland (Cordis Hotel), Wellington (Te Papa), and Christchurch (Town Hall); and will also be live-streamed. Feedback from the 2020 Awards Dinner was overwhelmingly in favour of retaining this format: making the event more accessible to finalists from outside Auckland and giving our Central and Southern Region members the opportunity to attend one of the NZIOB’s signature events. The confirmed date for the Awards Ceremony & Dinner is Friday, 13 August 2021. Save the date and stay connected for updates. 

Entries for the 2021 NZ Building Industry Awards are now open. The Awards are open to anyone who participates in the design and delivery of New Zealand’s built environment. For employers of finalists, it is an opportunity for them to showcase their company’s capability and the talent that their culture and systems produce. Entries are judged by a panel of senior construction practitioners. The closing date for entries is Friday, 7 May 2021.
