Project Ikuna is a 4-year government-funded initiative connecting Auckland employers with education providers to provide short, in-work training courses for Pacific people; a programme to help upskill the Pacific workforce, enabling them to adapt to the changing nature of work. And best of all, it’s free!
Auckland employers in construction/infrastructure, manufacturing, healthcare, and transport/logistics can register for the Future Ready Training courses to upskill their Pacific people for the future.
The future-ready training courses are:
- Short, in-work training courses including digital literacy and financial literacy
- Delivered by expert training providers
- Flexible to suit workplace your needs
- Fully funded, no cost to the employer
- The courses will upskill your people work and life skills, enabling them to adapt to the changing world of work and the ongoing impacts of COVID-19
