What’s in a name?
As the new kid on the block at the Institute of Building, I have an abundance of natural curiosity and at least 50 million questions for all of you as our valued Members - I’m keen to connect so please get in touch.
What’s in a newsletter?
Here we are at the ‘source’ (of info and goodness) or perhaps (pass the secret) ‘sauce’ - you decide!
One special ingredient we are missing is photos of you, our Members, to show how the website, newsletter, events and external comms all reflect your interests, your needs, and your connections.
Please get in touch if you have any images to share so we can start that conversation. We may even reward you with artifacts and goodies from our spring-office-clean - who knows what treasures we will discover?!
Members are at the heart of everything we do at the Institute.
First up in the new role is Member engagement. I’m kicking off at Christchurch’s event this week and a series of Auckland visits next. Then on to your place…
In August / September we will bring you a new ‘Meet a Member’ webinar - it will be a rough and ready short-form conversation and we will be asking round for Members to participate. Please volunteer yourself at any stage!
In October / November we will run a series of ‘Member Meet-ups’ to connect, listen, chat and test strategy options with you.
Huge thanks to the ‘Home Team’ for holding the fort. Special thanks to the Board, Graeme Birkhead and all the Home Team: Raynor Redman, Jenny Lynch, Hannah Keir-Smith and Hayley Larsen.
So what’s in a name? Well you can call me Pam or Pamela. I’m your new Chief Everything Officer. My email is email@example.com
