Currently, the Institute is considering its strategic position around innovation, inclusion, and wellness as we move forward to future-proof Member value. This month the Institute’s hard-working voluntary Board is heading into a Strategy Day which will be followed by Member Meetups around the motu where you get to have input (as well as enjoy lunch with some up-and-coming Members and some of our more experienced Members). We look forward to hearing your ideas for future-proofing your Institute.

NZIOB appoints Pamela Bell as Chief Executive

The New Zealand Institute of Building has appointed Pamela Bell as its new Chief Executive. Pamela was the founder and former chief executive of PrefabNZ (now OffsiteNZ) and is a leading advocate for sustainable, innovative building methods.

NZIOB Fellow Dr. Linda Kestle was awarded Outstanding Leader of the Year - Office Based, Caitlin Sanford, a student member won the Student Excellence Award and Kat Ricketts, a student member won the Apprentice Excellence Award. Congratulations!
