The annual NZIOB PlaceMakers Northern Region Golf Day was held in Auckland on Friday, 15 February. Despite warnings of cyclones, torrential rain, and gale force winds, everyone was delighted to wake up to a cloudless blue sky and sunshine.

The Constructing Our World conference series is an initiative in collaboration with the Singapore Institute of Building Limited, the Australian Institute of Building and the New Zealand Institute of Building. The conference will be held in a hybrid format on 17 March 2022.

NZIOB Member, Robyn Phipps has been appointed Head of School (HOS) at Victoria University Wellington’s School of Architecture. The new role takes Robyn full circle back to the school that she graduated from with her BBSc and BArch (Hons).

The Construction Sector Accord and the New Zealand Infrastructure Commission have jointly commissioned a review of NZS 3910. Six NZIOB members are part of the Review Committee, tasked with undertaking an important workstream on behalf of the construction sector.
