The establishment of the six Workforce Development Councils (WDCs) is well advanced, which includes the standing-up of the Construction and Infrastructure WDC. The process of selecting the initial governance group for the permanent Construction and Infrastructure WDC Board, will be undertaken by an Appointment Committee.
Expressions of Interest (EOI) are being sought from construction industry leaders who have an interest in becoming a member of the Construction and Infrastructure WDC Appointments Committee, being the group who will select the members of the first Construction and Infrastructure WDC Board. The Appointment Committee is a temporary body, which will cease to exist after the Construction and Infrastructure WDC Board has been selected. The time commitment is expected to be two-months.
