The sold-out Southern Region Golf Day went ahead on Friday, 29 October as planned. Due to Christchurch being in Alert Level 2, advice was sought from Golf New Zealand as to whether the NZIOB tournament would be permitted, while the Templeton Golf Club assisted the Southern Region Committee with ensuring that attendees adhered to Level 2 Protocols.
The event was another great success, with 27 teams competing to win the coveted top prizes. Most attendees confirmed they will be back next year to battle it out all over again.
